Japanese streetwear label nonnative started 2011 with a bang, releasing their New Balance CM1500 ‘Coyote’ just three days after the ball dropped, and it looks like they’ll be readying for 2012 with a similar plan. The nonnative x New Balance CM997 ‘Dunes’ aren’t anywhere near as nappy as the Coyotes, but they will indeed release in almost entirely tonal brown for the first week of the next new year. This time around, there’s a greater emphasis on leather plus a blue section on the outsole that’s something like an oasis to this desert theme.
