C.C. Sabathia has had the honor of being the Opening Day starter for the New York Yankees for three straight seasons (and eight out of nine overall including his time with the Indians). Unfortunately, the Yankees are 1-2 when C.C. starts Opening Day, but at least he wears some dope cleats! Here’s a look at the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ that C.C. wore during his start against the Boston Red Sox on April 4th, 2010; these cleats are bit higher-cut than the released basketball version and also features a unique baseball-specific midsole and spikes. Will C.C. start for the Yankees again in 2012? As of now, it certainly appears so.
