On one of the most historically significant nights of the year, Jordan Brand athlete Ray Allen paid tribute to the pioneer of the Civil Rights movement by wearing a pair of gorgeous Air Jordans fit for the occasion. Yesterday was Martin Luther King Day, and although there was no set of Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand PEs like there was in 2011, Ray Allen’s Air Jordan XII PE was enough to keep us in tune; it features a Black/Gold colorway with Allen’s ‘Sugar Ray’ tagline stitched on the outer heels of the shoe. Check out the snapshots of Ray Allen in action during last night’s game and stick with Sneaker News for more Air Jordan PE sightings and updates. via ESPN.
