Too soon? No, we’re not talking about a risque punchline, but rather, a sneaker’s release cycle. Jordan Brand’s tendency to wait a good while before re-issuing a design and Nike Sportswear’s massive vault of untouched classics have sneakerheads expecting a decade or so before a retro revival is due, but a couple of standout models from the ’00s are getting an early tour of NSW retail spaces this spring. On the running side of things, we have the Nike Air Max+ 2009, which popped up to our great surprise in January with a brand new Action Red design and word of gradient options soon to arrive on NIKEiD. This new pair is obviously more like the former than the latter, its all-over Varsity Royal construction also similar to Court Green and black models dropping this spring. These are starting to arrive at NSW retailers all over, and you can see more angles below before you grab yours from NikeStore.
