Nike’s busy in New York City to unveil some of its newest innovations for 2012, the year of ‘making it count’. Just yesterday, Nike Running introduced the all-new Fly Knit technology on the new Fly Knit Racer+ and Fly Knit Trainer+, two super-lightweight shoes that have heady goals of redefining the limits of a lightweight runner utilizing the world’s best footwear designers and engineers while maintaining the supreme benchmark of Nike Running. A special Nike HTM Fly Knit Collection was previewed at a private event yesterday at 21 Mercer in New York City, where Hiroshi Fujiwara and Mark Parker, two-thirds of HTM, were on hand to discuss the new Fly Knit technology and how it aligns with the innovative legacy of the HTM Collection that began in 2002. On that table is an impressive spread of Fly Knit samples and materials like the Fly Knit Racer and a Fly Knit Trainer Mid, with some of HTM’s greatest works on display on the far wall. Check out this great visual recap of this event and cop the HTM Fly Knit Collection now at 21 Mercer.
