Amare Stoudemire is usually a shoo-in for the annual NBA All-Star Game, even earning a starting nod in his first year as an Eastern Conference player. However, his streak of five straight All-Star Game selections came to halt in 2012, when the Knicks forward was not voted as a starter (ironically, because the votes went to his teammate Carmelo Anthony) and was not selected as a reserve. Amare’s been hampered by nagging injuries, and the sudden death of his brother has been weighing over him, which clearly accounts for the slight dip in production. However, Nike, like most other NBA fans, had projected Amare to be part of the festivities again, which is why Nike issued him this sick Air Max Sweep Thru PE, taking on the beloved ‘Galaxy’ theme. While Amare couldn’t floss ’em at the ASG, he did wear ’em during both wins against the Pacers – the Knicks’ last two games. Check out Amare and his Galaxy PEs after the jump and let us know what you think of this PE!
