Nike Air Max Shake Evolve – Anthracite – Stealth – White

1996’s Air Shake N’Destrukt was the perfect signature shoe for Dennis Rodman.  A guy just as well known at the time for signing copies of his autobiography in a wedding dress as ripping down NBA-leading rebound numbers, ‘The Worm’ was in full effect during that tenure with the Chicago Bulls.  The N’Destrukt’s offset lacing and aggressive branding remain so distinct sixteen years after the debut that even with new colors and revised material options, it’s still utterly unmistakable despite the updated Max Air-cushioned sole.  So the Nike Air Max Shake Evolve might have some purists still holding their breaths for the original, but what we have here is a perfect example of how to update a classic’s performance specs while maintaining the integrity of its original design.  Click through to see these done in a colorway that had some serious momentum going into that 1995-96 season thanks to the OG ‘Neon’ Air Max 95s, and look for yours soon at the same stores where you find your Ninety-Fives: Nike Sportswear retailers like Mr. R.  via ITSB
