This Retro simply could not have arrived at a better time, as the nation’s best ballers will cross the pond to defend their 2008 Gold Medal. Would two first-place podium finishes erase the 2004 Bronze from our memory? With the NBA’s elite already committed to offering their services, it certainly looks like its Gold or bust, and with the Games acting as the perfect stage for some awesome sneakers, it leaves us with a slew of Air Jordan Retro releases inspired by Gold like the re-issue of the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’.
