While Nike Sportswear will look to celebrate USA Basketball’s recent achievements in celebration of this summer’s Olympic Games, adidas goes back a bit further for the lion’s share of its torch carriers. The adidas Originals LA Trainer reminds us of the USSR-boycotted 1984 Games where the US athletes dominated on their home turf, these three new colorways offering a redistribution of colors from the Stars and Bars spread across Light Scarlett, Pool and Dark Onix suede and mesh builds.
