Vans has been offering chukka-style sneakers for longer than anyone else, and even with all the boat shoe hybrids and other variations, we’ve never seen one as sleek and sophisticated as the new style pictured above. The Vans Vault Chukka Bardenas LX debuted in late 2011 with a sleeker take on the classic desert boot silhouette, their lower profile, contoured midsoles proving that you can have your classic Vans waffle sole and eat (away from) it too.
