As collaborators the likes of James Whitner’s Social Status help the Swoosh celebrate the Nike Air Penny line, the Oregon-based brand is also releasing solo efforts of footwear associated with Anfernee Deon “Penny” Hardaway. The latest?: The kids’ Nike Little Postie One in “Aura” and “Worn Blue.”
Clean Foamposite uppers feature a different ridge pattern along the profiles from the standard adult’s offering. The “Aura” color sets the stage for sky blue flair around and on the tongue, while also allowing the contrasting tone to revel in the spotlight as it takes over the semi-translucent outsole underfoot. Carbon fiber shanks underfoot are replaced with a white-colored plastic that surely delivers some of of the same durability for which the original Nike Foamposite has been known for, while Nike Penny logos throughout the shoe favor a simple aesthetic as well.
