Finally, a release date.

The Super-Reflective Nike GT Future “Metallic Silver” Launches On December 20th

Updated November 15th, 2025: Official images of the Nike GT Future “Metallic Silver” have surfaced ahead of the December 20th, 2025 launch date.

Nike’s nearly year-long build-up to the GT Future is ready to hit its stride. The basketball lifestyle model first debuted by Wale during the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend is finally ready for a retail launch this December 20th for $200, and we just got the most detailed look yet thanks a member of the Swoosh’s inner-circle.

Veneda Carter, a current “it girl” of the sneaker scene, just revealed the Nike GT Future in detail, revealing the wildly reflective capabilities of the silhouette. Earlier looks revealed the hoops model with a matte silver upper, but hits of camera flash showcase a heel-to-toe blast of illumination. The only exceptions come via the black rubber outsole, tongue, and inner sockliner.

Given how Carter is choosing her walk-in closet as the setting for the photo-shoot, it’s not clear how poorly these will crease during wear. This isn’t a knock on the shoe; it’s just the nature of the material–it just doesn’t wear well.

Further details to come, but for now, mark your calendars for December 20th, 2025 for this Nike GT Future “Metallic Silver. MSRP is set at $200.
