A huge percentage of Kobe Bryant’s Nike Basketball signature series has been produced in some variation on the Los Angeles Lakers famed purple and gold, but if you were to change just one of those colors, you’d end up with something of a mystery. Take this Nike Zoom Kobe VII for example. Its navy upper with yellow accents immediately brings to mind images of the Michigan Wolverines, but the presence of a ’12’-tagged heel crest suggests the meaning of this pair will come into greater focus shortly.
