China’s devotion to basketball has had a profound effect not only on the globalization of the game, but on the actual manufacturing and design of Nike’s basketball shoes. 2010’s Nike Zoom Hyperfuse was built for maximum breathability, keeping in mind the hot weather that usually accompanies the popular ‘outdoor game’ that runs rampantly throughout China. Needless to say, China has had some major influence in the worldwide game, and so this upcoming Olympics, Nike has outfitted China with a sick set of athletic gear, like the country-specific colorway of the Lunar Hyperdunk seen here. Check out the images of the Nike Lunar Hyperdunk+ ‘China’ below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on other country colorways for the Olympics!
