You’re more likely to see this round of releases paired with premium denim than short-shorts, but back in 1984, the adidas ZX 500 debuted as Three Stripes’ flagship distance runner. A couple years shy of the 30th anniversary, this classic returns in an original colorway courtesy of the Consortium line (as indicated by the eyelet-riveted tongue tag). The Consortium ZX500 is as beautiful as ever in greys, white and red and they’re going to move fast once we reach the July 21st drop at for shops like the London and Berlin ‘number’ shops. Have a closer look after the jump, let us know how they compare to Consortium’s ‘Your Story’ and ‘Tabula Rasa’ 500s and stick with Sneaker News for more adidas release dates.
