LeBron James set the pace in USA Basketball’s victory over Brazil in Washington Monday night, but hometown hero Kevin Durant already showed his leadership with a long-term vision for the 2012 Olympic Games. KD’s hungry for hardware after coming up short against LeBron’s heat in June’s Finals, and a victory in London would grant Durant a perfect accessory to match the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Gold Medal’. This shimmering metallic Zoom KD 4 is expected on store shelves less than a week after the championship game, Saturday August 18th (the same date as a certain other ‘Gold Medal’ release). It remains to be seen if House of Hoops will claim exclusive bragging rights, but Sneaker News will keep you posted with any updates and you can see some new photos below in the meantime.
