Nike SB Dunk Mid – Dark Obsidian – Metallic Gold

Nike Inc. already got in on The Dark Knight Rises hype with a couple of new Chuck Taylors, so that cushions the blow just a bit.  But still, it’s hard to see this new pair of Nike SB Dunk Mids and not think they’d be perfectly timed as an homage to the earlier Batman aesthetics.  The colorway is actually a very dark blue (Dark Obsidian suede, to be precise), but it does indeed come across like the OG Caped Crusader thanks to Metallic Gold accents.  In any case, the Mid’s cult following will be happy to see its strap in tact on this release just like 2008’s grey, black and yellow design, so have a closer look and check back with us for updates before the November release.  via Homespun
