In 2010, Nike Sportswear saw the World Basketball Festival as the perfect opportunity to unveil the Air Force 1 High Foamposite – a combination of two of Nike’s most game-changing Basketball designs and innovations. The Air Force 1 Foams were an immediate hit between both AF1 and Foamposite circles and a limited set of colorways kept the consumers happy and eager for more. A low-top version of the Air Force 1 Foamposite was confirmed earlier this year, and today we get a first detailed look at a shoe that is poised to see similar success; this Metallic Silver/black colorway featured hints of blue on the heel, insole, and the lovable tint on the visible Max Air unit, with the Black Swoosh acting as a nice contrast to the upper (note the medial Swoosh is tonal). These are a bit different from the earlier samples we showed you, as those featured a bulging Swoosh a la the Air Foamposite Pro. Could that be a distinct release? We’ll keep you updated on that, but for now, flip through the gallery below and let us know what you think. Photos: marqueesole
