Kicks/HI is one of the 50th state’s premier sneaker and streetwear boutiques, and in their latest collaboration with Vans, they’ve managed to blend a love of sneakers and fashion with that island vibe for which their projects have become well-known. The Kicks/HI x Vans Vault Authentic LX ‘Paniolo’ takes its name and distinct styling from the attire worn by cowboys who immigrated from Mexico to the Polynesian islands in the 1800s. The rugged vibe combining denim and grainy leather is balanced by both materials’ premium quality and you can see additional details below including the signature blaze orange insoles. Expect Kicks’ Authentics exclusively at their stores in Hawaii and Guam plus their brothers at Chicago’s St. Alfred on August 4th and click through for more images. via HB
