Golf is a sport reserved only for that perfect Summer afternoon, where the sun shines brightly and the temperature rests at a comfortable 78 degrees, right? Nike doesn’t think so. Taking on a ‘year-round’ approach, Nike Golf introduces the all-new Nike Lunar Bandon – a performance golf shoe that incorporates the ‘ACG’ bravado with familiar Nike Basketball designs like the ‘Glove’. To make it truly waterproof, Nike heightened the traditional low-cut golf shoe to the ankle to work in tandem with rain pants for supreme waterproof protection. The asymmetrical zipper (a reminder of the Footscape concept of the mid-90’s) takes away stress on the foot, but the keynote attraction of the Lunar Bandon is the seam-sealed construction, allowing the shoe to be completely waterproof. Now, you have no excuses; the Lunar Bandon will be ready to take on the elements starting this October, when it hits retail for $180.
