The ‘Crawfish’ embroidered on the inner face of the tongue refers to one of the semi-professional teams that ‘Michael’ played for, but here we have yet another enticing detail on the tongue label, which reads another name along the lines of ‘Bentley Ellis’, perhaps one of the many pseudonyms Michael employed during this under-the-radar basketball comeback. The ‘Crawfish’ also has the number ’23’ stitched on the heel, which was in fact the jersey number used by ‘Ellis’ on the Crawfish team.
