As far out into the lifestyle realm they’ve come to extend, Vans has never once lost sight of their core group of consumers: skaters. If you need any extra evidence of that look no further to their various philanthropic efforts within the community, like the Vans x Nibwaakaawin project or this, a simple two sneaker set paying homage to Canadian DIY skate parks Leeside and Project45. In September Vans will release the two reworked pairs, to be known as the Leeside Era 46 Pro and the Projet 45 Chukka Low, with proceeds going towards maintenance of these two legendary spots.
