One of the crown jewels of the Nike Alpha Project is this sock-like neoprene-shelled runner called the Air Presto. One of Nike’s best combinations of lightweight, style, function, and quirkiness, the Air Presto is often considered to be one of Nike’s best running shoe designs of all-time, or at the very least, one of the most memorable. For 2013 the Presto will come re-packaged with Lunar cushioning, as these early catalog images reveal Lunar on the heel for that added comfort. Additional changes arrive in the stabilizing cables at the heel as well as on the lace-harness, and unique dotted detailing that flow down from the laces to the midsole.
