Do you still have your copy of It’s Dark and Hell is Hot laying around from your super aggressive Timberland wearing, dog barking days? If you flip through the liner notes of that classic DMX album you’ll notice that none other than Ruff Ryders mainstay Swizz Beatz has a couple of credits, a connection that is apparently still around and manifesting itself in the form of his Reebok work. Swizzy recently blasted off this Instagram photo of what looks to be a Ruff Ryders x Reebok Pump Twilight Zone collab, the ‘R’ in the Reebok branding borrowed from that record label’s typeface. Interestingly enough the colorway is a pretty flossy one, sort of donning the shiny suit look of late 90s Bad Boy fame that the Ruff Ryders more or less acted as a foil to.
