Regardless of being more of a consolation prize than a stand-alone must-have shoe, the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP ‘Galaxy’ is a hands-down head-turner. The idea of Galaxy lives on in this Foamposite-based sneaker, and when we first saw it on the feet of Penny Hardaway months back, Penny loyalists went absolutely berserk at the thought of a potential release. It was later spotted on the feet of NSW head-honcho Gentry Humphrey, who then later confirmed a release of the shoe; the confirmed release date is now October 19th with an MSRP of $215 thanks to the ‘Premium’ label, and it appears that it will be available on Nikestore.
