Italy is responsible for arguably the most stunning pair of Nike Air Max 97s ever released, a luxurious leather build limited to just under 1700 pairs. This latest AM97 release is constructed in a somewhat more familiar form mixing patent leather and mesh, but its tri-striped tongue and heel loops pull the black/white design toward the Mediterranean boot-shaped country with equal parts red, white and green.
