adidas and Nike are locked in a battle to the death over cutting edge loomworks, but one might argue that the real fight between these industry giants is over who owns the Pacific northwest. Both brands (and Li-Ning, for that matter) have US headquarters in the Beaver State, but the adidas Originals Oregon lays claim to the entire territory with a vibrant 30th anniversary colorway whose palette indeed references a typical mallard look. The UO Ducks are unquestioned uniform/coloring pioneers, but won’t be switching to Three Stripes anytime soon, so have a closer look at this classic runner that’s well-timed for Halloween and grab yours at select retailers like Titolo.
