The NBA season opens tonight kicks off tonight with an Eastern Conference Finals rematch as the marquee matchup, and even though the defending West champs don’t tip off until Thursday, there’s still quite a bit of noteworthy activity coming out of Oklahoma City. The Thunder shocked the world by trading Big Third James Harden to Houston (though both teams’ GMs’ reputations would suggest this is a win-win situation), which means Russell Westbrook will get even more chances to shoot while repping the Jumpman this season. Westbrook was rumored to join adidas Basketball before his Jordan Brand deal finalized, and in this context, we see a new adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 in Bright Blue and High Energy and ask ‘Why Not?’. These offer a spectacular modern day answer to Knicks colorways we’ve seen on the classic Rivalry Lo and Top Ten 2000 in recent weeks, and bring arguably the NBA’s hottest color palette to retail from Three Stripes stockists like RMK.
