While the tri-state area is still in recovery mode from the recent weather, Sneaker News didn’t skip a beat in bringing you all the news you want to hear. A first look at a 2013 release of the Air Jordan III kicked things off, while the LeBron X continued to roll out in new colorways like the ‘Denim’ and ‘Dolphins’. The KD V iD launched this week, and KD himself designed a few pairs for his Twitter fans. The Kobe VIII is clearly pumped with technology, as made evident by the in-depth gallery of images. Calvin ‘Megatron’ Johnson will get a sick PE this year, but the question is, when will the Flyposite appear on an NBA Court? Perhaps its Nate Robinson or Rajon Rondo who will break them out to build on their already-impressive NBA Feet selections thus far. It won’t be LeBron, who wowed us with his White/Black ‘Home’ on-court and the denims off-court.
The Air Force 1 continues to make headlines – this week in particular due to the Cristiano Ronaldo AF1-XXX. Nike SB has two sick collaborations in store for us, while a 2013 release of the ‘Year of the Snake’ from Nike Basketball should have us hungry for more. Air Maxes are coming back in full force in 2013 thanks to a Retro release of the OG 95s and 97s, while an OG Reebok Answer IV is confirmed for a drop as well. Fieg’s ‘Eclipse’ hits stores tomorrow, Staple’s pigeon x New Balance 577 is in the works, Coste’s Vans OTW Alomar raises eyebrows, and Packer Shoes’ Conductor Hi finish off the best collaboration news of the week.
