Classics Revisited: Air Jordan V “Shy Pink” (2006)

Air Jordan V Shy Pink

AIR JORDAN WOMENS WEEK

Although today’s men’s footwear releases have shown no reservations when it comes to using pink, that light and fluffy of color was typically reserved for women’s shoes – like this 2006 release of the Air Jordan V. Dubbed the ‘Shy Pink’ edition, this Air Jordan V released in October 0f 2006 and marks the first-ever Air Jordan V made specifically for the ladies. Despite the gender designation, the Shy Pink V was a popular choice among men as the release followed the birth of the questionable era marked by Cam’ron’s affinity with pink. Following the Air Jordan V ‘Shy Pink’, a few other women’s Air Jordan V releases hit stores, like the ‘Sunset’ and two Air Jordan V Lows. More of tonight’s Classic Revisited after the jump so check out this ’06 Air Jordan classic and stay tuned for more from this week’s theme tomorrow!
