The modern sneakerhead scene is sufficiently robust to support a huge variety of both new and old models, which are coming from an increasingly wide range of sources thanks to some of our nearly forgotten favorites coming back around. One of the more obscure brands (to anyone under 30, anyway) to resurrect their classics has been Le Coq Sportif, the French tennis specialists who outfit Chicago Bulls energy guy Joakim Noah but still don’t have the kind of stateside name recognition as brands like Fila (and maybe even elisse at this point). The Le Coq Sportif Eclat is a good entry point for newbies to the brand, its quintessential ’80s running silo crafted in suede and nylon and set apart from the pack by the rooster-pyramid branding. Let us know which style you like best after examining more photos below, and get ready for these to arrive at select retailers like Crooked Tongues later this week.
