“Memphis” Nike Air Penny V

Yesterday’s two-part featurette of Penny Hardaway’s personal collection featured quite a number of Penny V colorways, but up until this year’s release of the ‘Memphis Blues’ Nike Zoom Rookie LWP, there really hasn’t been a true Memphis Tigers tribute. That’s much in part due to the fact that Memphis’ colors and the most popular Penny composition of Royal, White, and Black overlap, but it’s good to see the Tigers getting their shine with this upcoming Penny V release. Matched with a nice detailing of stripes on the midsole and upper, this Air Penny V captures Penny’s alma mater perfectly (a small hint of orange would be nice).
