‘Nike Elite‘ is a phrase that we’d naturally associate with Beaverton’s basketball division after last year’s NBA Playoffs (and don’t forget about the superb socks either), which took place around the same time we last saw the classic runner by that name. Returning with pre-yellowed soles and scuffed Swooshes, the Elite VNTG rocks a tonal green upper whose lime nylon base hearkens back to the ’70s, but whose overall composition speaks to the lessons learned in recent years by Nike Sportswear’s brilliant color composers.
