Earlier this month RE/CREATE New York launched a charitable platform for which creators and artists could donate some of their productions for auction, with proceeds going directly to the New York Cares organization. A standout of the collection of items was a pair Air Yeezy 2s in the Black/Solar Red colorway that were worn and signed by hip-hop mega-star Kanye West; with a charitable cause at focus of this incredible auction, we predict the final bidding price on this item to be far greater than any sneaker auction we’ve already seen – and it’s already on its way to some incredible numbers.
