It looks like the Air Jordan IV just couldn’t stay out of the retro limelight, as the sneaker is set to comeback in a round-about way via the Air Jordan 1 ’89. The sneaker is an Air Jordan 1 at its base, but comes with plenty of embellishments that pushes it towards Michael Jordan’s fourth signature silhouette (netting on the sides, a ‘Flight’ tongue tag, the cement print). There’s no word yet on retail availability, but we’ve already seen the Air Jordan 1 do the hybrid thing this year with those Air Jordan XIII-inspired pairs, so don’t be surprised when this one shows up as well.
