Taka Hayashi’s latest work for Vans Vault is the epitome of his best: old school Off the Wall design language mixed up with some native flavor. The new Vans Vault TH Cornice LX is the latest Vans chukka silhouette, featuring moccasin toe construction and a patterned ankle collar reminiscent of the tribal look intimately connected with this capsule. Premium suedes and a bit of leather give these a classy look, but there’s still a double-stitched ollie area right above the classic Vans waffle sole if you have the occasion to shred.
