The Griffey line has been a little quiet as of late, a silence that is finally being broken by this splashy colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max 360. The pair has an almost ‘Southbeach’ looking colorway that apparently gets its inspiration from Ken Griffey Jr’s yacht that goes by the name of ‘Chosen One’. More specifically the inspiration comes from an incident wherein Griffey parked his yacht out in Fort Lauderdale during a series against the Marlins and opted to room there instead of in the team hotel. Driving that theme home is the tongue badge on that sneaker featuring a little yacht icon and that very nickname.
