Serious New York Knicks fans already know that their team’s curious name was inspired by the same Dutch pants that appear on the Big Apple’s flag. That’s where the team and MLB’s Mets took their color scheme as well, and it also influences this New Amsterdam tribute from one of Holland’s sneaker leaders.
