Nike Seamless Dunk – Unreleased Sample

Nike Seamless Dunk 2006 Sample

Not that the Nike Dunk needs a revival of any kind, but it has taken a backseat to the Air Force 1 over the last couple of years. Perhaps Nike Sportswear is taking a slower approach with some Anniversary plans like a Dunk-XXX celebration in 2016, but this 2006 sample gives some insight into some cancelled plans of a brand-new Dunk that might’ve changed the way we looked at this classic basketball shoe. Here’s a look an unreleased sample of the Nike Seamless Dunk, built completely without seams (duh) and fortified with a composite material to make up the classic silhouette of the shoe. Those pieces are also independent of one another, and some areas like the outer toe-box and heel have thicker and deeper ridges for added protection in high-wear zones, so were these intended to be a skate shoe? Check out the gallery of this rare Nike Dunk Low below and because you’ll never find these ever in a store, see the available sample pair from bsvendetta on eBay.
