After the Sneaker News March Madness Foamposite Tournament wrapped up the First Round of voting last night, we’d like to present to you the Sweet 16 that our readers selected to move on in battle. All #1 Seeds still remain, but there are several upsets that we must take note of (remember fellas, these are your votes talking!). The largest upset in terms of seeding came from the Southwest bracket, as the 2012 Pink Foamposite took down the most limited Air Foamposite One to hit retail in the Dark Army (under 100 pairs released), but other eye-catching results include the Bright Crimson Pro beating out the original Voltage in the East bracket and the Silver Pro outgunning the Carolina in the Southwest. If you want a full breakdown of the results, check out the voting percentages for each match-up below.

SECOND ROUND VOTING BEGINS TUESDAY, MARCH 26TH, at 4PM EST.

SOUTHEAST REGION

MATCHUP #1 – No surprise here: the Galaxy – a favorite to win it all – beats out the Gym Green with ease.

MATCHUP #2 – The most disappointing upset hits us as the Pink joints beat out the most limited Foamposite release ever.

MATCHUP #3 – The Metallic Red beats out the Varsity Royal to move on to the Sweet 16.

MATCHUP #4 – In the battle of the all-black Foams, the Stealth edges out the Blackout Pro.

SOUTHWEST REGION

MATCHUP #1 – Another Tourney favorite beats out the Black/Red in convincing fashion.

MATCHUP #2 – One non-#1 seed that could win it all moves on as the Eggplants defeat the Electrolimes.

MATCHUP #3 – The “Retro Blue” might be the #3 seed to watch as it defeats the Bright Cactus with surprising ease.

MATCHUP #4 – Two early-2000s Pro releases battle it out, with Metallic Silver taking the W.

EAST REGION

MATCHUP #1 – Coppers vs. Cough Drops in this top-vs-bottom showdown, but no surprise as Copper moves on.

MATCHUP #2 – The 2010 Pearl Retro beats out the Suns colorway to enter the round of 16.

MATCHUP #3 – Another sad upset develops as the original Voltage falls to the recent Bright Crimson joints.

MATCHUP #4 – The Pro releases continue to drop like flies as the Varsity Red falls to the HoH-exclusive Neo Lime.

WEST REGION

MATCHUP #1 – The original version has zero problem moving on. Is it a Final Four lock?

MATCHUP #2 – All-Black beats out Fighter Jet Camo. We’ll be honest, we’re a bit surprised (but surely pleased) at this outcome.

MATCHUP #3 – Dr. Doom wins this battle as it beats out the Black/Gum OG.

MATCHUP #4 – Dark Green colors have no luck as the Pines are slayed by the Metallic Pewter.
