The latest branded item to be banished from the NBA is not a piece of footwear, but rather a very specific hairstyle. Iman Shumpert of the New York Knicks stirred up some trouble recently with his cut, which featured a pledge of allegiance to the three stripes in the form of the Adidas logo shaved into his instantly recognizable do. The cut was apparently a violation of the NBA’s uniform guidelines, with the corporate logo being on display and all. As you can see here, Shump has since wiped out the Adidas logo in compliance. Of course if he really wants to show that he’s down with Adidas, the logical next step would be a Gucci Mane-style face tat. We’ll stay tuned to see if that happens, but in the meantime, let us know what you think of Iman Shumpert’s banned hair in the comments below.
