Asics brings back a classic style that we saw just a few years ago but left little evidence behind. Hopefully this run of Onitsuka Tiger Stormer runners will be more expansive and visible, because the precedent set by these first three suede and nylon compositions is quite strong. These give new variety to the classic running sector (which by definition, can’t expand beyond the established past), but will they have the appeal to stand toe to toe with Asics legends like the Gel Lyte III?
