Most of Jordan Brand recent Retro releases utilizing this black suede material have been absolutely on point. With that said, the upcoming Air Jordan V “Black Grape” might be one of the best releases of the year because the quality and colorway have combined to create a perfect Retro+ colorway (much like the Air Jordan IV “Cavs” of last year). It’s really the perfect colorway for Grape-lovers who are looking for another vine to pick off from, and although a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, there’s no doubt that this 2013 release is going to be in the cross-hairs for sneakerheads around the globe.
