Nike confirmed a re-release of five Doernbecher releases from the past, which had the comments section buzzing due to the fact that the set number is the same as the number of Jordan DBs in existence. Reebok made another weekly splash with an unveiling of the next SNS collaboration and the Classic City Series, while adidas shows us the Halfshell (it’s exactly what it sounds like). New Balance has an upcoming collab to keep an eye out for, while Fila presents to us the Grant Hill joints. Vans hooks up with Liberty for a set of Authentics, and Saucony’s team-up with Hanon keeps the brand’s name in the headlines once again. Customs were a big one with week, with the Red October joints getting recreated by Mache. Sneaker Con in Atlanta was as magnificent as ever, with noted hip-hop sneakerhead Trinidad James stopping by for some shoes.
