adidas aimed to change the game with adidas Boost, unveiling the new material to a huge media group back in February. Part of the adidas Boost unveiling included a preview of upcoming innovations by the three-stripes – one of which was the eye-catching adidas Springblade – a midsole built by external blades completely uncaged and free of any Foam-based material. The name is rather straightforward, as the protruding blades allow the athlete to spring off the ground surface for a incredible response and energy return.
