The Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 7 debuted on Friday, July 5th 2013. The tonal tiger-striped red and black pair is the signature look so far; how does that style translate to other colorways? Quite well, judging by how they tackle this next pairing, which gives us more contrast by way of a different blocking pattern. The way all the lines sweep together in alternating shades makes for a vague resemblance to the long-awaited Air Up retro coming up next year, an observation that reflects the P-Rod line’s success in emerging with original designs from the retro basketball-based SB lineup of Dunks and Blazers.
