The New Balance 996 just extended itself into midtop form with the H996 and now we see another new variation for this classic runner during its 25th anniversary year. This is another higher cut, as the WP996 combines a familiar if stretched upper with a new cupsole that has these looking more like a 1980s basketball shoe.
