The latest high fashion send up of the Converse classics will come from none other than Maison Martin Margiela. Details on the project are pretty slim at the time of writing, but it looks like more than one silhouette will be part of the Collection (why else would it be called a Collection?). We can expect the shoes to go the painted route, mimicking a popular in-house tactic of Margiela’s. The shoes won’t reach up to the MMM benchmark in terms of price, but they look to be retailing at around Missoni/Converse levels (So, in the $200 range).
