Stephon Marbury’s Starbury Footwear Line Making a Comeback?

Stephon Marbury’s Starbury Footwear Line Making a Comeback?

Starbury Sneaker Line Returning

The tagline on the Starbury brand‘s Movement Tour II is “It’s bigger than basketball.”  And that appears to be the case with four-time Chinese Basketball Association All-Star Stephon Marbury’s signature line, which looks to coming back strong with not just affordable hoop shoes, but several other genres as well.  Do any of Steph’s new designs look familiar to you?  It’s clear the line will be borrowing from some popular releases, namely the Nike Zoom LeBron VI, Air Trainer 1, Air Jordan XII and even Ato Matsumoto’s cowhide hightops from 2009.  These designs are presumably as close as you can get without legal ramifications; does the fact they’ll be leaning on established favorites mean you’re excited to see the new Starburys release – especially if they’re going to carry to super-low pricepoint?
