As we saw in preview images last month, the Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 7 is subtly shifting its alignment with the Premium suffix. When P-Rod 7s first hit, the Premiums were easy enough to spot at first glance, because it was these pairs that featured a tonal zebra stripe pattern at the toe and heel. That might still be true, but what we’re seeing here today is proof that the general releases are also picking up just a bit of the animal action. This new one in grey and black with pink pops uses the striped pattern just at the heel, which nicely sets off this low-key yet expressive palette.
